Well our first day back at the Church Hall went without a hitch. Everyone pitched in to help find storage space for all our bits & pieces. We certainly do have a lot of gear! I arrived a little before ten o'clock, to find several members already there - they must have been very keen to see the new venue! The day felt a bit disjointed to me, but I was still not feeling well & everyone seemed to want to talk to me about something or other. I was emotionally exhausted when I got home. There will be a few issues with tables being set up I think as the hall is now available for hire to the wider community, so I am guessing things will not necessarily be left where they are easily accessible - I am sure it will sort itself out in time. The kitchen is excellent - it will take a while to figure out where everything is - we kept going over to the bench under the window as this was where the sink was previously - it is now in an island bench.
I was very disappointed to hear constant complaints from some re the flies! For goodness sake! Grin & bear it! I don't like flies either, but dislike whingeing more!!!
I am really looking forward to beginning our block of the month project - more than half of the members want to participate.
